Human Unity only sends text messages to people who have explicitly opted in. You can stop at any time by replying STOP. We do not share your phone number with advertisers or political organizations. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
The Human Unity SMS program is operated by Litzenberg & Associates LLC, the registered entity behind the Human Unity project. References to "Human Unity," "we," "us," or "our" in these terms refer to Litzenberg & Associates LLC operating the Human Unity program.

You may opt into the Human Unity SMS program by:
Checking the SMS opt-in box on any signup or registration form on humanunity.us
Texting a designated keyword to our SMS number when prompted
Providing your phone number and explicitly requesting SMS communications from a Human Unity organizer
Opting into email communications does not automatically enroll you in SMS. SMS opt-in is always a separate, explicit action. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder or have permission to enroll the number provided, and that you are 13 years of age or older.
Human Unity may send the following types of text messages to opted-in subscribers:
Member onboarding
Welcome messages and first-step guidance when you join the network. Sent once at signup, with occasional follow-up during your first 30 days.
Chapter event reminders
Reminders about upcoming gatherings, meetings, and events for your local chapter. Frequency varies based on chapter activity — typically 1–4 messages per month.
Network updates
Significant announcements about the Human Unity network — new initiatives, resources, or opportunities. Sent infrequently, typically 1–2 times per month maximum.
Emergency and urgent community alerts
Time-sensitive information relevant to your local chapter or community — including urgent coordination needs or safety-relevant information. Sent only when genuinely urgent.
We do not send marketing messages, political content, fundraising solicitations, or promotional offers via SMS.
Message frequency varies based on your chapter activity and the types of messages you have opted into. On average, expect no more than 4–8 messages per month. During periods of high chapter activity or urgent community needs, frequency may be higher. During quiet periods, you may receive no messages at all.

Standard SMS and data rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to messages sent and received. Human Unity does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may. Contact your carrier for rate information.
You may opt out of Human Unity SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:
Reply STOP to any Human Unity text message to immediately unsubscribe from all SMS communications.
Reply CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE — all are recognized opt-out keywords.
Email hello@humanunity.us with your phone number and a request to be removed from SMS communications.
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt back in. Opting out of SMS does not unsubscribe you from email communications.
Reply HELP to any Human Unity text message to receive contact information and a link to these terms. You may also contact us directly at hello@humanunity.us.
Human Unity's SMS program is compatible with all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket, Metro PCS, US Cellular, and others. Carrier support may vary. We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.
Your phone number and SMS opt-in status are treated with the same care as all personal information described in our Privacy Policy. Specifically regarding SMS:
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes
We do not use your phone number for political targeting or advertising
Your number may be shared with your local chapter organizer only for direct coordination purposes, and only if you have explicitly requested chapter connection
SMS opt-in data is stored securely and is separate from any other marketing lists
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the SMS program at any time. If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify active SMS subscribers via text message and update the "last updated" date on this page. Continued participation in the SMS program after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
